I just thought I'd ask around and see what everybody thought. For all my chassis components, I am going through Chassisengineering.com and basically, I'm getting their Car-in-a-box. I doubt I'll ever need that much cage, but I figure if I get bored, it will give me all the frame I need to up the Tq.
I'll be shooting for a Turbonetics Sponsorship along with a couple of local ones as well. I'm hoping that when I get everything put together, I can send some pics to different companies and see where that gets me.
Most of you guys know what I'm up to but I'm not going to spoil too much yet. This is a full drag race vehicle(wish I could re vote in the sidebar) This will not be FWD either.(note the Ford 9") There will not be an "ins and outs" type post either. The main reason behind my lack of how-to is that, in my opinion, if you have to ask how to do it, it's not for you. I've had to search countless websites, start hanging out at race shops, pick countless brains...Long story short, With all the work that I and my cohorts are doing, I'm not going to make it any easier for the next guy. Especially since this isn't a "bolt-on" modification, nor is it anything you can do in a weekend with a couple of friends, a six pack, and a set of wrenches.
I will have a partial progress log so you guys can see *some* pictures of the craziness. I don't want to give away too many secrets. I think this will be the MOST Frankenstein'd vehicle on the track...EVAR!!!!
Any and all feed back is welcome!
