Palm iiic with mmcd goes into hard reset if I leave MMCD running

I know this is more of a hardware question, but I spent many many hours making a cable that charges my palm iiic while I drive.

The only problem is this. If I leave MMCD running and or the battery dies completely, the Palm does a hard reset and it loses MMCD. I have to reinstall it.

It is kind of annoying.

Any idea what is causing this?

I think this is actually normal behavior. Even my newer PDA's do this. Any thoughts?

All my pda's do that. I have to reload mmcd anytime I change batteries. The pda used to save all info when it was new. Sometimes I can change batteries superfast and the info is saved, but I'm not always quick enough. Luckily I got a Palm M125 with a memory chip, so I just plug in the memory chip and re-install mmcd.

Lol, wow ok...just want to make sure that I didn't make a mistake on the cable. This is really effecting my bling factor. Hehe, seriously I am a bling person hahaahahahaha!
