Painting Exhaust

I'm getting my exhaust in a couple days and am wanting to paint it to keep it from rusting. I assume I have to get high-temp paint but where do you get that and which type should I get?

It may not be an option if he has already bought it. I know for a fact that I wouldn't trust paint on my exhaust, high temp or not, especially on a turbo car.

How hot could the exhaust get? And weather is that snow? Cause my car definetly won't see that. Sorry if I sound like an idiot but I am really wanting to know.

well ive pointed a temp gun at an exhaust and once got over 2200 degrees farenhiet. by weather i mean rain, and constant cold then heat then cold then heat then cold... that kinda stuff ruins stuff quickly

Where did you find a modern exhaust that wasn't aluminized?

Let it rust. Stop looking under there. It's nasty.

It'll only take fifteen years to rust out. Within five, you won't be able to get most of the crucial parts for DSMs.
