If you don't spend at least 3 grand no shop is going to make it look nice or the paint wont last more than 6 months. It's possible both might happen.

Go online for paint prices, or call auto paint shops.

Maaco.... The money is all in labor if you go to a paint shop. If you can do all the prep work, aka sanding... then get a base coat/clear coat paintjob from Maaco. Just don't expect them to care about runs in the paint/clear, that's why its cheap.
