How long did it take to remove all bolt on parts from your engine?
I am now buying new bov, piping, vacuum hoses etc. so i am thinking doing the painting when everything arrives.

I just need time now...
If you could give me an idea of how long it took ;)

Really well done!!

Its not something you put a time table on. If you have to ask it's going to take more time than its worth. It's not a project for your daily driver

I understand what you mean, but this car is not daily driven.
it is just as I told in past post that I have have to look after kids as well, so if it is a 1 week project I can begin it during summer vacation when kids are not at home.
If it is a 1month project I'll have to let the car dismantled for lot longer and find a way to protect the engine/engine bay etc (no roof for it).

This is why I am asking how long it took to remove everything.

Sorry for The Late Post.

Bare with me I did this By Myself. I wanna Thank You for Posting this Because without your post I would have never been able to do this.

I took 3 days removing all the parts. (My girlfriend kept bugging me and coming over LOL) :sneaky:
Preparation Is Key for a Successful Job :thumb: 2 Hours sanding and sculpting the towers on the passenger and another 2 hours on the Driver because I wanted to take my time to get it right but you can do it within an hour or two. I Cleaned with #33 or 38 degreaser and La' Awesome Yellow Stuff (Man that stuff cleans Anything:hellyeah:).

Paint Took 2 Days, Starting in the Morning is Best:

Day 1: use a Tack Cloth to remove any lent and dirt that may be left on your surface. Then you apply your primer all in even coats and wait 24 hours until the paint is dry or just wait until the next day.

Day 2: Is your Base Coat then you wait for an hour to apply your clear coat.

It took me 5 days to a week to finish and put everything back together.:thumb:
