P0115.....Engine Coolant ....what is it?

Hey guys, I was on my way to school this morning and I got a CEL. I hooked the logger up and it gave me a P0115.....Engine Coolant Temperature circuit. since Im at work and stuff can someone tell me what exactly that is. Around how much. And how serious it is as far as driving the car goes. Thanks alot guyz =)

it probably means it has something to do with your coolent temp sensor on the thermostat housing. Make sure it is plugged in and if it is then you might want to change it

you probably have a short either on the power or ground side. I had the same problem, it turned out to be a short on wire from the ecu to the ect which caused the temps to read over 300 degs
