I could be wrong but I believe that the first guy is a member (old school) on 2gnt.com He/They do top notch work, and I would recommend them to anyone. Hell they even make a tubular turbo manifold for the 420a, although most people that have a 420a will not spend that type of money its nice knowings its there. They are actually the ones I'm considering going with when I max out the log manifold(which wont be much longer).
 
Come on....anyone have ported heads ???
Why yes, yes I do. I have ported my own, I have had my buddy Mario (a Honda master fabricator) do one and AMM Mike do one for me. Mike's head barely sqeaked by my buddy Mario's head in a "heads up" :p comparison.

Honestly, Mike's port work has been tried and true tested. I would recommend him. His is currently on my 12.5comp NA.

thanks mark, we still need to see what my head does with a properly running and tuned engine vs mario's heads #'s.

heres a 1000whp capable intake port (not yet proven but i know its capable), marks n/a head is a toned down version of this u could say........

I use a amm head on my 4g63 285cfm in and 265cfm ex at 0.5lift. Also did all the machining and assembly, great workmanship. I'd recommend him.

But fwiw, I had a bit of a crappy day today at the track, but we did get the NA time down to 13.19 now, LOL (yes, that's with your head).

yeah i never heard from u after i sent the head out, i didnt know if something bad happened or not. hows the car running any idea on how much power u picked up after the rebuild?

Mike, car runs great. Spool is awesome, it made 579hp on 27psi on 28psi went 141mph, and I have a feeling it's making a bit more now at 32psi ;). 24.5 to 26.5 psi made 50whp. Powerband is great too! Great service and decent turnaround time for what was involved!!

Welllll.......actually (and I break Rob's nuttz on this), he has enough power with his set-up to do mid to low tens (even dip into the nines). He has run 11.1@145 (yup not a typo on that trap). If he would just get his butt in the seat and spend some time at the track, we'd have something there. Unfortunately, his season has ended, so he would have to wait for next season.

I am going for 650 but after that I am done/ xtremes intake mani he said it will help gain 40 whp any input on that?
I never put much stock in that "and it'll get you X more horsepower". What a part will get you is so dependant on what your set-up is. I guess that's why I like dealing with certain individuals when I can. I can talk to them about what I have and where I want my power etc. and we can come up with the correct design application.

I would be willing to do a back to back comparisson on your intake manifold when I get my car running. My intake right now has an MP 60mm TB and was bored to the same also I cleaned both sides of the intake runners (casting marks and imperfections) also did a gasket match on it....:rolleyes:

If I send you 2 intake manifolds would I get another $65 of the intake manifold price?

Also wanted to know what IM will work better for turbo the long runner or the short runner?....:hmm:


And finally what modifications will I need to make to use the IM?

I have cruise control dunno if that matters...:confused:
 
If he trapped a 145 then he will break 9s after ahwile... I am T27 but the guy I ran agaisnt ran 148 9.11 with a shitty reaction time
