Question for tuners with experience - back when I had big dreams, I bought a lightly used set of RCI/SouthBay 2200cc Hi-Z injectors that are now laughably oversized for my needs. I'll probably never pass 450whp on my 2.0L and we'll probably never get E85 back. FIC 1000cc injectors probably would be just fine for me. I can't find a buyer for my SouthBay injectors, and I'd probably end up paying to swap them for FIC 1000s with all said and done. Should I just stay with the massive SouthBay injectors on my car? I've never used either FIC or SouthBay so I don't have experience in making them work. Would there be any difference in drivability/difficulty of tuning?

They are so overkill for that power level...especially on gas. I have personally never used Southbay but my FIC 2150ccs were pretty easy to get dialed in even on the stock ecu and that's in both my old Galant and my Mustang.

I see some people saying the RCI/SouthBay 2200s are great, some say they can't get them to idle perfectly. I'll probably have it running on a Link G4X or Haltech, which probably helps, but I don't want any drivability issues whatsoever. Any other experience with them?
