I live in Vegas and it’s getting to be in the triple digit degree weather. I haven’t had any overheating issues ever but now I’ve been seeing that my car overheats when I drive for about 20-25 minutes at a time in the 100 degree weather.
I replaced the thermostat since it wasn’t opening properly and it wasn’t burping the coolant system properly and now it is totally good and full of coolant but I still overheat when I drive for too long.
When I got home today I was starting to overheat a bit. I popped the hood and saw only one of my front radiator fans blowing. the one in front of the exhaust manifold wasn’t blowing. Would something simple as that be the cause to overheating? I heard that if you turn your A/C on then both fans should kick on for about 10-15 seconds but only one of them do.
