And I've been have a problem lately. Everytime I get on tha gas and the turbo starts to spool up right around when I hit 10 to 13 psi my upper intercooler pipe kept popping out of place. I looked around a lil bit and saw a couple solutions got that. Once I got the uicp to stay in place I tried testing it out. The turbo boosted 15 psi then I heard a pop. Right after that I let off and the car stayed revved up to 3000rpms. I haven't driven her since or really had the time to check her out, but does anyone out there have an idea of what can be going on?

my car is virtually stock. I haven't done any mojor mods to it. My mods include- Hard U\L ICP, greddy type rs bov, intake, and boost, air\fuel, oil pressure gauges. I don't have a boost controller so stock PSI should be around 10 psi. Any suggestions?

Yeah that is normal if you don't tighten down the pipes. You popped it off making the ECU read unmetered air which makes the car almost stall or if not stall of you completely popped it off. If I were you, I would get some good T-Clamps and clamp that pipe down properly. Do a boost leak test as well, to do one, go to the search botton we have on the site and type in boost leak test.

Tighten up all your intercooler piping, make sure your using correct couplers, dont go out and buy those rubber pvc couplers, they wont work., pop all your piping back into place, tighen everything back up, then take your postive termnial off your battery and reset your ecu, since what happen when you blew your pipe off your ecu was reading unmetered air, which causes your car to rev and idle improperlly, and a result of stalling out continously. I hope this works out for you, please try this and get back to us. thanx

if your not sure on how to reset your ecu , the easiest way is to:

1. Take your postive battery terminal off for about 10min, then put it back in place and tighten it down

If your not sure what kinda couplers are on your intercooler piping, and you have some cash and you wanna replace them, just go to most any performance shops and ask for turbo piping couplers, they should have a variety of what you need, just take off the old ones and get the diameters of each coupler or just bring em to the shop and tell them this is what you need, then make sure the new ones are tightend down

Ok now that I got the pipping tight I think that my waste gate is not opening. Tha last time the I drove tha car it boosted 15psi (I don't have a boost contrller) then I heard a pop (it wasn't the icp). After, the car would idle at 3000 rmp
