Opinions on red hood on a black car???

I have a black car and i dont want to paint the whole thing red and have a black cf hood, so i thought of maybe leaving it black and getting a painted red cf hood. Adding a little graphics on the side may help, but its an idea, any opinions? Thanks

that's funny stuff guys. Also if your car is black and you have a red hood, hmm maybe paint the hood black? Oh good idea huh? Instead of painting your whole car red to match car, makes sense. I mean since you are painting your cf hood red anyway, why not paint it black? Because you do realize when you paint cf the CF is not reveled. Unless you are talkin about red cf. Then that's a different story. But do yourself the headache and the laughs and just get a black hood. If you're goin for lightness just paint the cf hood black. Your choice though, just a ton of people will not recomend it. It will look like you just took the car off a junked eclipse and slapped it on there, dc how good the paint is either.

So you have a black car that you're going to buy a carbon fiber hood for, a hood that's normaly black. Apparently you're wanting to paint the hood red to match the black car or paint the car red eventually so you want to paint the hood red now and then paint the car red later ? Or are you going to paint hood to match the red to match the carbon fiber that'll match the paint that'll match the carbon fiber with the paint and the hood.

I'm lost as to what the hell you're talking about, but never put a red hood on a black car, even if it is temporary. Paint the hood when you paint the body if you want them both painted red.

I dont think that this will help any or change any opinions but its possible i might have said exactly what i meant:

My idea was to have a look of instead of a red car with a black hood have a black car with a red hood and graphics as well, but i guess that doesn't seem to sound to good to anyone.

maybe, just MAYBE, if you had some pretty nice red decals on the body, and some black on the hood and maybe somethnig on the back red with black decals it would look decent, but for me it wouldnt be worth the risk^^^just go black

it looks absolutely hideous if i may comment, on the photoshop. In real life, it might even be worse, if that's possible, but that might not be possible. If you do this to your eclipse, i will be completely upset and discouraged and maybe a little hurt deep inside.

Graphics are disgusting, i cant remember a graphic scheme i've ever seen that looked good. Other than one involving custom paint work and thousands of dollars of airbrushing. Vinyl is garbage, cheap, ugly, distasteful, hideous. It's a scarring of the paint in the most pure form, next to keying a car, i can't think of anything else as offensive to a nice paintjob. It offends me, almost as much as it must offend your paintjob.

This is my drunken, honest opinion. take it as it is.
