Opinions on next mods

This week I will be purchasing the Budget 1g FMIC kit from Punishment, 3'' GM Maf, Maf-T, Walbro 190, and the Dejon CIP-1gQ intake. I've been waiting forever to turn up the boost and I think with these parts and injectors (not sure what size to get) I should have everything I need to do so. Is there anything I'm missing? My goal is to eventually have a 350-400hp street car. I think I will be going with PTE injectors but I'm not exactly sure what size I need to get closer to my goal. Will 550's do the job or should I go with 680's? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

You should go for the 680's for sure. Personally I would get the bolt-on 50 trim. Sorry I dont have a link to one.

So you think I'll need 680's? Will I be able to get everything running decently with just the MAF-T's injector compensation and SAFC? As far as the 50trim I'm going to atleast wait until I max out the EvoIII before I get a bigger turbo. Thanks for the reply.

Tuning is always #1. I learned this the hard way. Get an eprom ecu and get Jeff at www.dsmchips.com to make you a custom chip. They are well worth the money. As far as injectors I would not go past 680's with a maft and safc. The maft is almost useless IMO unless you have a good base tune w/ a chip or something. But it does flow some air. I have 1000cc injectors and with only the chip it run pretty darn good.

Ya if you want to max out the 16g you would need bigger then 550's. It could be tricky tuning them with the safc but you can get it done.

Wow, I was just looking at dsmchips.com and for 350 I can get the stage 3 along with his eprom ecu. Why the hell dont more people do this? Im seriously impressed!!!

It's only $20 if you want to upgrade. Say you want 720's ,a higher redline, and more timing. He also will help you through any problem and is working on and might have finished the E85 chips. The list goes on and on.

I don't see any 1g Eproms for sale on his site, but if they had that same deal with 1g ecu's I'd probably jump on it. I will eventually get an eprom and dsmlink when I get the money but for now I will try to do the best I can with the safc. Thanks for the help guys. I can't wait to get all this stuff and get it installed! Any idea of about how high I could turn the boost up with these mods and the ones I currently have? Assuming I can get a good tune that is.

Still considering a keydriver chip too though..

I would say 18-20, start at 18 and just keep the timing as good as you can.
