Opinions on log 1/8 mile

So i finnaly got my car to the track for the first time and i was very disapointed.
Horrible times for my set up (T3/To4e ar.60, ar63 all supporting mods).
Utilizing TunerPro/ostrich 2gmaf, Stock bov and boost guage read 25ish psi.
Best time 9.151 @82.45
I'm thinking leaking bov.

DDG- Talon BOV mod for HIGH BOOST

I just did this myself. Didn't take long at all. Don't need to install the barb etc. Just drill the hole and tap and seal the bottom with JB weld. ## good to 30+psi.

Having a leaky BOV will just over work/over speed your turbo. If you were at 25psi on the gauge U should still be making the power.

U have other issues. with that 1/8th you'd be running around a 14 sec 1/4. Way to slow for your setup. What were your 60' times? WB02? Knock? Octane of fuel?

Running 93 oct. i attatched my log and i see very little knock. Wb Lc1 not working its about to go in the trash. Looking into zeitronix.
Any suggestions???

what was your 60 ft??? It should be faster but i know alot of people that should have veeerry fast DSM's but the way they did their porting to there head and how they launch/shift make them run in the 14s.. My buddy has a FULLY built 1g that should have at least a 35r on it but i has a 16g and he ran 14.5 at 22 psi... he can't figure it out so i drove the car.. His tranny isn't smooth, his tune is bad, and his boost comes on to slow because of the tune...

I did run down an SRT4 on this run.
Launching i eased into it at 5000 rpm's, Car's first time out didn't want to break anything yet.
stutter box set at 5000.
I know my launch sucked but shouldn't it be faster than that anyways?

nope not really. Every tenth you take off your 60 is every 2 tenths you take of your quarter.. But your in the 1/8 but it should diffidently be significant.. you can easily take off 3 tenths and if you practice you can take off 4-5 tenths with a very nice launch..

reaction time means nothing really.. I looked at your log and i hate looking at them because how hard they are to see what is going on but your shift pretty slow.. It took you at least a second to shift.. It also looks like you bogged the launch... that will really hurt your times... You need to shift pretty damn fast and you need to practice your launch..
