I've read many different threads about which fluids are the best and there are so many top choices. I have a 97 talon tsi awd with lsd rear end. I'm leaning toward oem diaqueen fluid from jnztuning.com. 3 quarts of diaqueen 75w-85 for transmission. 2 quarts of diaqueen sae 90 for rear end and transfer case. 5 quarts brad penn 10w-30 partial synthetic (no catalytic converter). Oem oil filter long. Currently has royal royal though out (done by PO) and transmission is a little notchy when warm up. After reading Jacks recommendation of not using royal purple for Trans I want to change all fluids. Let me know what you dsmers think.

I use T6 rotella for my engine oil and red line mt-90 for tranny fluid, I highly recommend both these fluids. I also second the oem oil filter that's what I use.

Can't give you my experience with the rear end though, I have none :idontknow:

I have to say Jack knows what he is talking about and is good to deal with. I've heard good things about brad penn in the mustang community, read it in one of their articles but take that for what it's worth. Red line makes motor oil too, motul is good oil hell even synthetic valveoline vr-1 has good reviews.
