I am looking to buy a 95 GSX since my transmission just went in my 95 GS, and I found one that is only firing on 3 cylinders anyone have and suggestions why? I am just wondering because I am going to look at the car soon and I just want to know if anyone knows of anything that I should look for besides the usual. Thanks

I'd say just check out the plugs, wires, coil pack, and wiring to the coil pack. Then check compression on the cylinder that isn't firing just to make sure it doesn't have a huge leak.

I am going to see if in a few days but I had read that in some engine swap people just cross some wires but I didn't know if that was an issue. Is there an easy way to check the compression on it?

Oh, ok. What should it read if the compression test is good? Oh nvm its 178psi ^_^
