only boosting like maybe 1 or 2 psi

ok so i just rebuild my tdo5h turbo and i finally got everything back together and its not boosting i check for boost leaks and theres none i fixed all them before so idk now

When you say that you fixed all the boost leaks before, do you mean before you had the turbo off? If so, do another one!

Does the turbo spin freely? Did you put any rags down the IC pipes while you had the turbo off and forget about them?

WG hooked up wrong?

i fixed the boost leaks before and i tested it after i installed the turbo and all the rags r cleaned up all ic piping r good and how could i hook the WG up wrong?

Any chance you over-torqued the compressor locknut on the shaft and bent it? A bent shaft will prevent boost from happening....it will also sound like a Supercharger and destroy the entire turbo if left alone.

Aside from that I'm going with some type of wastegate malfunction that is not allowing the flapper to close entirely.

try running it with your wg vac line off but remember you will not have any control... only your foot will control how much boost is made...!!!
