Awesome 1g, now pleeeeeeeaaaaaaase take care of it. I personally wouldn't mod it, and wouldn't drive it much either. It is 1 of 1, whether it's worth anything or not doesn't matter, it's rare, and you have the only one - keep it that way.

How the hell is it that people can go ga-ga when there's a 1G or 2G that has a clean body kit and engine bay that's clean enough to eat a filet mingnon off of, but be complete assholes when it comes a vehicle that has the potential of being a collector car, even if it won't have the resale value of a Hemi 'cuda convertible?

How about just enjoying the car for what it is: A cleanly done, well maintained vehicle that is as much a piece of DSM history as those rare gullwing and targa-top Eclipses.

Thanks for all the feedback ( and arguing ) I really dont care too much about what its worth... I will when I feel i should sell it... From what ive heard and stuff... I am probably going to buy another dsm AWD or save up more and buy a 3000gt VR4 and keep the fittipaldi talon in the garage and take it out to show it off every once and a while

I'd be more than happy to remove any identifying marks (license plate/whatever) from the rear shots if you feel comfortable sending me a pic via e-mail. It might help this thread go down its intended route.

i know these cars are very unpredictable, but i dont think taking a picture of the rear end will break anything on it.

I think you need to take some pics or the injector tops, pop the intake off and take a pic of the compressor blades... The engine may not be as stock as you may think. I'm hoping for a 16G and some 550s

BWAHAHA. I can't believe some 16 y/o kid hides the rear wing on his DSM because someone copy it. Especially a 1 off that you should be proud to show....Then someone else shows pics of it.... Thats laugh out loud CLASSIC

The cars been perfect, a future high valuable collectible...and within a few months of owning it the kid added after market wiring, screwed a fuse over the vin on the fire wall, and poked holes in it to run a wire inside the car...OWNED. Let me take my one of one fittipaldi to circuit city.

Anyways. That car is ugly as sin. The NACA ducts are ugly on the front bumper, the wing looks like a shelf. The side vents are interesting, but the lack of real side skirts is nasty. The color matched roof looks as bad as it always does. If you saw that driving down the street dirty and old, you would laugh out loud at how bad it looks.

Its value is it's rarity and its perfection, and the current owner has already began to destroy that.

i'd put down 10gs for that thing if i had it, i love that car! I think it is totally sweet, but looks kinda like a cross between a 1g talon and a subaru svx

i just looked in my car and i dunno if this means anything, but my speedometer only shows 140 written, it doesnt have 145 written. i guess thats different

Some are measured in 10 increments starting at 0 and some are measured in 10 increments starting at 5. Just luck of the draw I guess.

No, 1990 model years speedometers read in 5mph markings, 5-15-25, etc. All other years read in 10mph markings, 0-10-20,etc.
