older hks turbo timer

i just picked up an older hks turbo timer that came off a 1g. im not sure on the model number. but is there a wire diagram or will the 1g plug work with my 2g

2g color wires and location
12v - WHITE at Ignition Harness
IGNITION 1 - BLACK/WHITE at Ignition Harness
IGNITION 2 - BLUE/BLACK at Ignition Harness
ACCESSORY - BLUE at Ignition Harness

hks turbo timer colors
RED - 12v
GREEN - Ignition 1
YELLOW - Ignition 2
BLUE - Accessory
BLACK - GROUND
GREY - Parking Brake or Grounded

i found it on their site its a type 1 black. just not too sure what wire from the ecu is the rpm signal wire

i believe its pin 86 that you want to hook up your speed wire too. Atleast that's what i did for my turbo timer.

i got that hooked up i just need the RPM signal wire

You can use pin 58 at the ecu which is the engine ignition signal. Thats where the tachometer get the signal from.
