You took out & replaced the entire top + frame, not just the fabric top, is that right? Nice to know that it can be done in 4 hrs. Is that a plastic or a glass window?

It does look nice.

yes fabric and the complete frame... taking it off was more difficult since ive never done it.... but putting the new one on was stupid easy... no adjustments were needed. and its a glass window.

Does the top open up and close and fold down OK?

I see you had to remove the rear seat, which is what I see in my manuals.

It's definitely a good deal for $200.

yea the top goes up and down.... but tonight idk if its In the motors or wiring but it didn't want to go up but 20 mins later it went up... so more digging I got tod o.

It's the motors, I would recommend pulling them apart and greasing them. My top wouldn't go up, I automatically thought the shear pins inside my motors were broken, pulled everything apart and the pins were perfectly in tact. I regressed the gears put everything back together and like magic the top worked perfectly.

yea they def need greasing up and cleaned a lot.... my window motors and tracks need it to... all the windows are stupid slow.... not to mention I need a new window control switch.... did you use any kind of certain grease
@Doubleot

I refurbished my motors with new pins as the old shear pins were destroyed. So you installed the new top pre-installed on the new frame correct? Did you buy this all new, or from another dsm owner?
