Okay IM just figuring out how to use this pocket logger, I think the program sucks. I cant transfer my log to my computer, so I just copied it out of the logger. this is ALL it gave me, I don't know if some settings are off or something, I think it gave me some pretty weird RPM ranges. (im attempting to tune with a SAFC) My car is a automatic, so i just gave her hell from a stop.

rpm___o2v__timing__sht_trim__lng_trim
3792__.17___9______0_______12
6064__.11___18_____0_______0
7188__.11___0______0_______12
5124__.09___13_____0_______12
5772__.09___16_____0_______12
6388__.09___18_____0_______12
6892__.09___-4_____0_______12
5084__.11___8______0_______12

Okay now i thought o2v was suppose to be like .9 or something? what is up with a peak of .17? could someone please make sense of this mess? Thank you

Ok, are you sure that is the front sensor and not the rear? It looks like at 6800rpms you let off the throttle and thaat is why your timing dives like that, but up until that point your timing looks good for a 2G. Don't log the trims when you are trying to tune the high settings, the fewer parameters you log the better sample rate you will get. But yes your o2s don't look good, possibly a dead/dying sensor if those are the readings from the front o2.

Do i have the option to choose between the front and rear o2 sensor? the rear one is shot, i dont even think its functioning or hooked up. yeah i did lift for a split second where my timing dives, i watched my fuel pressure drop to 40psi (like it always does due to kinked fuel lines) i was gonna lift but i stayed in it. yea thats a good idea about sample rates, ill do that next time. i of course thought the o2 sensor was going bad, but wouldnt i most likely have a o2 cel code? theres no code. thanks tho, but i dont see how its a double post. i have one other thread about fuel trims that will not move no matter what

What software are you using, but yes you should have a choice between the front and rear sensor. No it generally will not throw a code. I didn't mean yours was a double post, it double posted me response so I edited it out.

im using, palmnstien i think its spelled? it gives me a "o2v" and a o2v(2)" is that maybe my choice? it also gives me a "srt_trim" lng_trim" and "sht_trim(2)" and "lng_trim(2)" can you explain what these are? i dont see any other way i could choose what sensor to use. thanks a lot for your help
