Ok guys so i have to get rid of one of my cars....I have a 90 laser rs turbo, and then i have a 1995 talon esi. The catch is the esi has 85k on it and i just traded my spare 6 bolt for a turbo kit for it...so i honestly don't know which one to keep....i know this is an opinion question, but i rather here your guys opinions

laser is in descent condition...needs a little body work...you know normal paint fade and dings and stuff....but has 168k on it...

Well if you are looking for reliability go with the ESi, otherwisw I would keep the laser and sell the talon.

I dont know too much about the relaibility of a turbo 420a...look into it and make your decision.

Hrm lets see: a "1g turbo w/ high mileage" vs. a "2g NT with lower mileage, plus a turbo on the side"....

What I'd do:

Sell EVERYTHING, then buy a 2g GSX/TSi AWD, and with the extra $$$ get some mods.

Personally I think this is less of a hassle that installing the turbo in the 2g...

Taken from RRE "'95-'99 Turbo Kit for the Non-Turbo
We don't have one. First, you should have bought the turbo Eclipse in the first place if you want to go that fast. Second, for about the price of a good turbo kit and the installation you can sell your car, take the money and another $2,000 or $3,000 and go buy a GS-T. Third, you have a Dodge Neon motor in your car and it has nothing in common with the Mitsubishi 4G63 motor. Send Me Hate Mail" - My opinion is the same. Sell both and find a GSX or TSi

Well it sounds like you want to go fast. The Esi will typically have less problems stock for stock, as it's newer and has way less mileage, but the Laser will put more power down easier. You're going to have to build your 420a if you want to make decent numbers, as that motor is weak compared to the 4g63 stock for stock.

I'd either:
1. Sell everything and buy a lower mileage turbo DSM.

2. Sell the Esi and turbo kit and use that money to rebuild the Laser's motor and make it fast.

3. Sell the Laser and build your 420a and turbo it.

My vote goes with #1.

Lose the ESI and turbo kit, or if you dont want to go that fast just keep the ESi, and have a small peppy car...

so i decided to sell the laser and keep the talon...ill prob end up selling that one to oand buyng a 2g awd turbo...so thanks for the input guys
