Ok.. looking for cheap mods to make on my car...

alrite, i have alotta time on my hands (being grounded forever and all) so im looking for some ways to make modifications, visual or engine, that is fairly inexpensive to make. time is really not a factor, because i cant drive it anyways. so far in the last week ive, take off my front bumper and headlights, cleaned the lenses, put super white lights in, painted the bezel black, meshed the bumper, tinted my tails, and painted some of my interior, and also rewired everything so i have no cords in my car... so now i have run out of ideas for things to do that will cost me relatively no money. my car is completely stock also besides what i have done this week. so any ideas/suggestions/comments are appreciated, thanks

well theres really no point in painting the calipers, as you cant see them because i have stock hubcaps... i was thinking about painting the hubcaps black, took a quick look at them and didnt know how they came off so i decided to come back to it later. do the hubcaps just pop off or what?

honstly I don't know... never had a car with hubcaps! except a 75 toyota p/u and they did just pop off.


maybe hit up your local wrecking yard for a set of factory 16" 5 spoke alloys would be a good upgrade?
good waxing job and through vacuuming and detailing of the interior would work too, as would adding a small led inside the console for illumination, if you have a console and not the "tray" like i hear the RS's had

hmm finding some rims at a junkward doesnt sound like a bad idea... are you talking, just finding any 16" rims, or actually talon or eclipse factory rims? and how much do you think that would cost me? low cost is a factor...

eclipse rims are best.

2k and up rims fit too, sometimes they want major $ sometimes they are a steal...

you might even be able to find 17" rims at an affordable price since they were used on the 2ks, but any 3000 wheel or eclipse or talon wheel will work.

the 16" eclipse wheel is a classic, fill in the with a little epoxy and paint them gunmetal for a subtle but different look.

get rid of the factory "gel" stickers on a hot afternoon... they will peel right off when it gets over 100 degrees outside after sitting for an hour or so...
