ok... bad news.

There is a shop in grand rapids called acurate engines and i think my plan is to get a top end motor rebuild (pistons valves ect) because i doubt that i could have done any damage to the bottom end of the car...im not sure how much it will be for the top rebuild but im sure it will be better than the estimate for 5 grand to put a new rebuilt engine in..any body see anything wrong or think im risking it just rebuilding the top? any other advise would be welcome...and to the guy that asked the car has 70,000 miles

have no advice to give really but i am in the market for a 2g gsx with a blown engine if ya decide its not worth the trouble
