Alright guys sorry to make another of these but I havent found any yet that completely answer all my questions......

Im trying to decide between the 20g or 16g...
I know the 20g will spool later I was told around 3000rpm and this would be good for me since this is going to be a daily driver, but I have also run across a few threads where people were saying the 20g was junk, and of course I dont want any junk in my car...

Ok the goals for the car are to keep it a daily driver that is still track worthy, My hp goal is around 300 more if possible and boost around 20-25psi....

List of projected mods for cmpletion are:
Neon tranny
quaife LSD
stage 3 clutch
stage 2 axles

Rebuilt Motor with 8.6:1 pistons and crane cams

Megasquirt with 8 injector setup and high flow fuel pump

all the necessary turbo parts of course

So question is is the 20g really junk and what are the positives and negatives to both 20g and 16g for a daily driver....

Also what are the best places to buy both?

I think thats everything, thanks for the help

It's all personal preference. To be honest, the 16G may fit your needs a little better because it spools quicker then the 20G, therefore, better usage on the street with lane-to-lane, light-to-light racing.

Although, the 20G has been notorious to produce high HP numbers. This is of course, with the correct setup. I'm sure someone will tell you how important your feul set-up should be to support such turbos.

Put it this way : 16G= Smaller, but not small
20G= BIgger, but not by much.

Smaller spools quicker. Bigger takes longer but the punch is much stronger.

I was just thinking the bigger might be better for street only because it would be much easier to not turbo if I didnt want to.... But im really not sure which one would be best as Ive never really driven a turbo'd car before

...why megasquirt with 8 injector setup?

main reason cause i can run smaller injectors, and can practically keep stock idles, plus not many others have done it and I like to be different LOL.... No but ive just always liked the idea of stock fuel injection (well almost) until needed then the extras kick in
