Just had a quick question on these turbo's. Is XS Power a reliable turbo company? I am only looking to run around 8lbs of boost and I want something that will spool really fast so I am only looking for something small, I was thinking a T25 or 16g? what do you think?

Dont go with XS-Power. I havent heard any good things about them, I however dont have any experience with them. The 14b on the 1Gs are set at around 7psi by the 1G ECU, so if you want to run 8psi, I think the 14b is the way to go. I havent seen the compressor maps, but it has a fairly quick spool especially if you port it to 7cm on the exhaust side. Its a very sturdy turbo, in fact, I just took mine apart and the core is still in excellent shape, it outlived the exhaust housing :D . By the way, my car has 130k on the clock and I dont think it has ever been changed... I f that tells you anything. Personally, I would look at companies that are more reliable, like slowboy or buschur racing my self. Hope that helps.

XS power and SS autochrome are the same company. You can find threads about them all over this site. I cannot say wehter or not they are good or not because i choose to spend my money on pruven companies with good reputations.

I do however have a friend that is putting a Master Power turbo kit on his Iroc-z. I believe master power to be the same as the aformentioned companies. At the very least the do use XS Power turbos as it is printed right on the side. When he gets it up and running i'll let you know how it performs.

I've put that crap on people's car before. 1 turbo kit on a civic. 1 on a celica. Both lasted 200 miles.
If you're going to do something do it right the first time. Hahn's racecraft makes the best 420A turbo kit on the market. Especially since they have the fastest 420A out there if I'm not mistaken.

well i have a xs power 42 trim and it has lasted about 4000 miles. it has some shaft play but i havent taken good care of it. it just so happens that i was in a shop with a 50 trim xs power turbo thqat was disassembled. aside from the fact that the dude ran it with no oil for about 2 months it looks like a sturdy turbo. no plastic parts or nothing. i am going to try one of those 300 dollar 50 trims out next year and see how it goes.
