Oil Sending Unit Relocation Kit?

I think my auto meter oil sending unit took a dump on me yesterday and now Im wondering if the relocation kit worth buying from exterme psi? How accurate is the reading with it being relocated?

It's just a 14" line that relocates it... The pressure will still be the same within the line, so your readings should be no different than they normally would be.

I just threw together my own kit: an fittings, npt adaptor, sender, 2 ft of line. Relocated sender next to the ps pump. Works great and accurate! Make sure to use thread sealer on connections.

I have never personally heard of this happening from vibration. I have run them on stock and built motors in the factory location and currently run one in the stock location with no issues so far.

Guess I can give it another shot before buying the relocation kit.
