I'm trying to replace the oil return line gasket from the turbo to the oil pan. I have the gasket,8 just don't know where it goes . Anyone can help me or point me in the right direction on where it goes ?
I'm kind of new at this .

I believe that it should be a metal line that leads back to it. Very easy to tell when you get under if I remember correctly. And the gasket will go right where the old gasket was. Make sure not to Crack the return line though.

The drain tube from the turbo center housing to the pan, you'll have to crawl under the front of the car but once you spot it, it'll make sense.
These are meant to be installed without any RTV. Many people pile on the RTV and then clog the hole ending up in poor drain ability for the turbo.

Use the proper bolts AND aluminum crush washers, oherwise you (1) risk stripping the threads in the pan, (2) risk a leak from the bolt holes themselves.
Do NOT overtorque or you will strip the threads in the pan.
Clean surfaces well!

STM sells the little rubber washers that are meant to be used as well. I personally use a very little bit of RTV like super thin layer to hold it in place on the pan side, then new OEM rubber washers. No leaks at all.
