So replacing the return line because it is leaking. Ordered ss return line from Bonehead performance. Kit only came with ss braided line with banjo bolts and four crush washers. Is that all I need? I was figuring it would come with some gaskets and the stock looking flanges that bolt to the turbo and the oil pan. Am I missing something or is it going to work with what I have? The leak seems to be coming from the flange that bolts to the oil pan.

As far as the leaking goes, I say get some OEM gaskets that go on the return line to the oil pan and double up on them and spray them both with that Copper RTV Spray. Supposedly other DSMers have had success with that strategy and stopped their leaks. I'm going to do that next time I change my oil.

My car had a constant drip from the oil drain too even after changing the gasket, copper crush washers, & even torqueing the bolts to spec. I didn't go as far as changing the oil pan but I did double up the gasket there and used that copper spray... NO OIL DRIP! Ever since I got it to seal up at the oil pan I only disconnect the turbo side of the oil drain so I don't compromise the integrity of it at the oil pan.

So I would suggest to double up that gasket at the oil drain and copperspray the damn thing, then torque the bolts to spec so you don't strip the oil pan.

Crap. Sure enough went to copy the link and seen the description. OIL FEED LINE. I bought it from ebay, but its from bonehead. Guess I am the bonehead. Searched ebay for return line and thats what it pulled up. Diddn't bother to reaad the 3" header at the top:ohdamn::banghead:

Haha don't feel too bad, I had a similar mishap when I ordered my SS oil feed line, thought it was from the head to the turbo, then when I got it was like 3' long. Turned out it was a feed line that supplies the lube from the oil filter housing :/ But I installed it from head to turbo and it worked just fine! If you don't already have an SS feed line, might as well install it! Otherwise try and return it and use the cash to get an SS return line.

Thanks. On the plus side at least I didnt waist my time pulling the old line out and finding out too late that it wasnt the right one. While I dont use this car as my daily driver it still would have sucked to start the day with a slap on the head (should of had a V8) moment. Ended up going with this one from ebay
