Pulled my motor and noticed I chipped the plate on the oil pump gear/sprocket. :ohdamn: I haven't taken it off yet, but is the plate separate from the gear? I tried searching but can't seem to find the gear or a part number for the gear and/or plate. Does anybody know where to get one?

That is all part of the sprocket. It's part number MD124762 from your favorite OEM parts vendor and I'm sure you can find them used through Miller Imports or a junkyard.

I've ran them like that with no issues. Buttt, if you had some spare change and the belt off, why not replace it

ive spent sooooooooo much with this current build it's really not funny:| so to not lose it on some thing so small
i guess ill put it on the list. but for now it will stay. Is the part number above for both 6 and 7 bolts?

Mitsubishiparts.net says it works with just about any 4g63-4g64 engine. I dont know first hand though...
