oil pump/front cover question.

I need to know if anyone knows what size bolt I need to properly eliminate the balance shaft tensioner pulley. Someone smeared RTV over the hole and I don't think it's keeping oil from leaking, my driveway doesnt' think so either. Also, when you do the balance shaft elimination is it ok to leave the front shaft in place? I have a oil leak I'm trying to track down. Thanks in advance and any help would be appreciated.

i believe that is for when you take out the balance shaft. Someone took out the bolt and tensioner for my balance shaft after chucking the belt. I need to know the size of the bolt that is supposed to go there.
