oil problem

ok so i just changed my oil about 1000 miles ago and used mobilone synthetic oil, and now i was driving and when i step on the clutch and the oil light comes on when the rpms drop. i checked the dipstick and it wouldnt even show any signs of oil, there is no oil drip in my garage so i dont think there is a leak, what is going on?

Add oil till it's full on dipstick. Start from there.

Probably burning it. Fill it up.

Well if there's no drips then you're most likely burning it. What oil weight are you using? Probably will need a rebuild

How much oil did you use? Did you check for proper level after you let the motor run for a min.?

Check your filter housing my car did this and i just had to tighten my filter housing somtimes it's a slow leak just somthing to double check.

I used all 5 quarts, and i checked the oil with the car off and there was none on the stick. Then i turned it on and let it run for a while, turned it off and same thing.

Get the oil to the proper level on the dipstick and see if the issue goes away. It's tricky with new oil sometimes since clean oil is hard to see on the stick. If the issue continues when full on oil, I would start checking end play. Not to be "that guy" who screams crankwalk, but oil pressure dropping when the clutch is pressed is one of the signs of worn out thrust bearings.

I'm on board with checking for crank walk now before is to late. If caught early enough it can be fixed with some new bearings and possibly a new crank, depending on how bad it is. My case had worn into the block and took out the crank with it. I check for walk every 15,000 miles now.
