Oil pressure sensor removal

Ok so I'm having a problem removing the green clip from the oil pressure sensor on the 420a, It has a red slider on top that can slide back and fourth but no matter which way I slide it I can't figure out how t actually get it to come off. Any input would be appreciated, Thanks!

If i remember correctly you should slide the red piece to the side and push the tap in, sometimes the tap gets dirt and junk under it and it makes it a pain to push in. spray it with some pb blaster and try to very carefully squeeze the tap with a pair of pliers to get to off

The red clip is a lock that holds the plug on, pull it off and the clip will unplug.

You have to pull the red clip towards the passengers side and I think it needs to come all the way out then pull the sensor.

Pulling the clip towards a side is irrelevant. The sensor could be clocked any way. The red locking clip needs removed in the direction the lip is.

well it depend how you put it back on for the first time and now you want to take it out. You can feel one end have big lip and other end is flat so you can know where to pull it to take it out.
