i have a 1990 eclipse gsx swapped on a 16g turbo from a evo 8 no more than a week later the turbo blew from lack of oil. one guy said if i got a smaller oil filter for it it would raise my oil pressure can anyone help with any tips

are you feeding the turbo oil from the side of the head? like a normal 1g or did you swap the turbo oil feed to the OFH?

has the head ever been off and milled?

How did you get an EVO 8 turbo to fit may I ask? 16g's should be fed off the head, I would check the drain and feed line for debris first. They don't require a lot of oil pressure to operate.
