oil pan gasket or rtv?

i have researched a bit and cant find a straight answer. i have a leak at my oil pan. One of the oil return line bolts that goes into the oil pan stripped out and is leaking oil everywhere. i have a new oil pan now but my question is, do i use a oil pan gasket or use a bead of gray rtv on the rail of the pan?

You must have missed the dozens of threads that mentions not to use a gasket and to use RTV instead...
