2G Oil pan bolt

So I decided to use the fel-pro gasket for the oil pan with a layer of ultra black rtv under it. (trying to fix a leaking pan)
I got all but 1 bolt to go back into the pan-to-block. I believe it is too short (it is one of the short bolts that goes in around the t-belt. I'm not sure if the hole is stripped or not.

Would it be ok if I left that bolt out? There is another bolt 1.5" from that spot, so it should be sealed...???

The gasket may be too thick to get the short bolt in, so what I would do is get a longer bolt and cut it and put it in, or better yet, get rid of that gasket cause its going to leak on you eventually as the pan on these motors is specifically designed for rtv sealant.

I would recommend ditching the gasket and using the rtv. Like stated the pan wasn't designed for a gasket. I would not recommend leaving the bolt out.

+2 on the gasket ditching, I never use gaskets on oil pans and never had a leak. Also I would recommend the Ultra Grey RTV instead of the black.
