Replace the valve cover gasket, and the spark plug well seals. Look for a cracked cam cover while you're there.eclipsegsx97979 said:everytime i clean the oil up then go out and push the car i get oil all in the valve cover well where the spark plugs are and also on the hood... where could this be coming from?
i did notice on the valve cover that theres a very small hole that goes all the way through to where the spark plugs are on the front ride corner of the valve cover... im thinking thats where the oil is coming from??? cause it doesnt leak at idle or anything.... just when i push the car.... can anyone help me please???? i have pics if you need to see the hole im talking about....
CyberEye said:Change the Oil Cap, or at least the oil cap gasket/o-ring, they dry up and leak quite a bit. that's usually what causes it. If that doesn't help, then change the valve cover gasket/sparkplug seals and the half moon, if that doesn't work, time for a new valve cover.
