Just installed a 16g on my car, from a 14b.....It's smoking like crazy (priliminary start), but I noticed oil dripping from the 2 bolt connection at the o2 housing / downpipe. I torqued the bolts good, and installed a new "o" gasket, so how it's leaking, I have no clue....But why is my worry. Brand new turbo from ExtremePSI...I'm at a loss.

have you made sure all the oil from the uninstall is cleaned. maybe your old turbo leaked oil in the o2 housing and now its coming out

Is your return line oem, or aftermarket? smoking would indicate that its kinked if its aftermarket You need to diagnos where its leaking, could be the return line it happens to all of us. Some fix it, others dont. Let the car run then look, for it, clean it up also, and redo it, and look.

Well, you nailed it. Kind of. Let this be a lesson to all, and sure to give some people a good laugh, at my expense. But for future searchers I will explain and "take one for the team"...

It dawned on me this morning as I lay awake thinking about it. When I made the gaskets for the return line, I cut the screws holes out, but neglected, SOMEHOW, to cut the MAIN flippin' holes. It wasn't draining, at all! The true definition of a "blonde moment". :ohdamn: Go ahead laugh...
