oil keeps shooting out of my oil pan

Ok so i am trying to get my rebuilt engine running and am pretty much at my wits end with this problem. i was able to get my car running, but it seemed to be only firing on 3 cylinders and nothing was going wrong with my oil pan or pump. then all of a sudden my fourth cylinder (somehow) started firing, and my rpms went up, but then literally all of the oil in my oil pan got blown out of it and just gushed onto my driveway. perplexed i took a few days to replace the seemingly blown oil pan gasket hoping that it was just the high rpms on the newly installed gasket that made it blow, and deciding to figure out how to better control my rpms ( even though it reads at 2000 it sounds like its at 3000). so i fixed my oil pan gasket and filled it up with oil again today and started it up, again the rpms went up uncontrollably, and i blew the gasket again, though i lost far less oil this time. what could be causing this, ive heard it might be blow by, but i am really hoping that someone will have a different problem thats easier to fix. i need this car for college in a few months and fixing blow by would not fit into my schedule to well. thank you

Start with a compression test and leak down test to make sure everything is sealing fine first. Next time, ditch the gasket and just use gasket maker for the oil pan just like from factory.

agreed i had the same problem but mine was leaking from the oil pump, that gasket didnt seat proberly just a big mess of oil and antifreeze
