OK so, I am not sure if there is any issue here but I was somewhat worried.

When driving my 99 eclipse gs-t with 90k miles and stock turbo, there is some oil shooting out from the BOV. I can see some of the oil on the underside of the hood and the hood and car get quite hot after driving, even when not pushing it too hard.

Also, when the pressure is released from the BOV and you hear the WHOOOOSE there is also a highpitched whistle for like a second.

Just recently noticed this after I had 2.5 pipe put on the car.

No smoke coming from the exhaust.

Any help is appreciated.

Disconnect your lower intercooler pipe from the turbo. See if it's full of oil.

#### that. Remove everything. BOV, UICP, LICP, intercooler. If oil is shooting out your BOV, you'll have a bit of cleaning up to do.

It's most likely your dipstick. I have never heard of oil shooting out of the BOV. It's impossible. You would need to have a large volume of oil for it and at that point you'll need a new turbo. And where would it shoot from? The stock BOV is a one piece that gets recirculated back into the intake (I assume you're not venting but if you are, shame on you).

nah its certainly coming from the BOV, I watched it coming out as it was revving in neutral with the hood up.

and im not sure what venting is. The BOV has one side connected to a hose and the part of it where the pressure releases is not going into anything.

Sounds vented to me. A picture would help a lot.

a bad turbo will produce enough blow by to allow it to escape the vented BOV. Speaking from experience of the crapped out T25 :(

Yeah you're venting. Shame on you. So the oil is spewing from where it releases the pressure?

If oil is coming/shooting out of your bov, then most likely your intercooler pipes are full of oil as well as your intercooler.
I would take off all your hoses and intercooler, thoroughly clean them really good with gas, slosh it around till they gas comes out clean on every piece, and then put everything back together and test it out.
I did that on mine and never since have had oil in my pipes again.
To prevent oil from building up again , you can run a catch can between your vc and intake or you can vent the hose.
