My BOV is vented and saw that there's some oil coming out of it. Not too much but enough to be concerned about. Is this normal?

how much oil? It's not that bad if you have a really light coat of oil. That's probably a blown seal on the turbo, check the rest ot the i/c pipes and see how bad is it.

:talon: i had the same problem: little bit of oil coming out of the bov and it wasnt that much a light coat maby i guess , but i mines comin from the head cover vent in down the tube in into the turbo, i know this because i took the filter-to-turbo intake off in it was coverd in i it could be suckin the oil into the turbo in then blowin it into your intake , but now that is a problem i took my TB off in looked inside then intake in it was compleatly black with carbon in wet black sluge bout half a 1/4 in thick! and that can kill hp acculay mine was so bad it was blocking sum of the ports up almost ,u could get a catch can for tha head cover vent so the oil goes in there so you can monitor how much comes out , or just put a reg. filter on it i guess

Def check out that turbo, mine did that when it was on its way out. When I got the new turbo put on, it blew a few quarts out of my BOV. When I went to park it, the passenger side headlight, hood, front bumper, and passenger fender were DRENCHED in oil. Big mess.

You could also see if there is oil chillin in your IC. Its always good to clean those out every now and then.

check your intake tube that goes on the inlet of the turbo if its coated in oil its the vent forsure or the pvc valve, have a check inside your intake manifold thow, after a long time of blow-by and oil getting inside your intake it starts to build up in harden you'd prolly also want to check your TB couldnt hurt

ya all it is is sum blow-by, just get a little filter that would connect to the pipe that comes off ur valve cover to the intake pipe....dont worry about it everyone gets it, also clean out ur intercooler, if u have a sidemount most likely ppl dont clean them out. ude be supprised, i cleaned my out intercooler with some gasoline, i filled it up and shook it up, and then dumped it out, after about three times of doing that all the old oil was cleaned out, now let me tell u the first time was nasty, pure black liquid...so clean it out and clean out all ur intercooler piping, u will notice a differnce in performence too
