Oil in spark plug area

Ive encountered a problem recently on my 1997 Eclipse RS. The channel that leads to my #4 spark plug is filled with at least one and a half inches of motor oil. I just noticed this today when messing around under the hood a little. The car runs perfectly fine (no sputtering, no missing, not even any blue smoke), so i am curious what has caused this and what i should do as a solution? Thanks in advance.

Could be your VC gasket?

Not entirely sure, im going to have a mitsubishi dealership look at it soon but i was just hoping to see what you all might think it is...... i hope its just a gasket (only the #4 is flooded) and not something more major.
