I was installing the last new coupler on my FMIC piping tonight(had some cheap temporary couplers on there just to be able to drive), when i pulled the coupler off I noticed it was full of some type of fluid. Well it turned out to be oil, and this is on the pipe directly off the compressor housing. For some reason, I'm thinking this can't be a good thing. Are my seals about done for?

T-2Small. I had a feeling that was going to be the problem. That and I had been noticing the smell of oil burning from the exhaust. I guess I will be replacing it with a 60 trim, although I have none of the supporting mods yet.... :(

Sorry, I should have mentined that I have a breather filter on the valve cover. Plus this is coming directly out of the compressor. :sosad:

I know. I had started smelling what I believed to be oil from the exhaust, that's what got me a little scared to begin with. Then when I pulled the IC pipe off I had a pretty good feeling the seals were going. All I can say now is I hope I get my tax return back before it goes all the way like on my old GS-T. Talk about a smoke show! :D Thanks alot to both of you for your help.

you can get a used t25 for like 100.00 or less seriously.. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT! put a 60-1 on with no supporting mod's, or in a few weeks you will ask why is my ish blown up... supporting then the big toy's..

It will have the supporting mods it needs. But I'm not wasting my money going back to a stock turbo. It was going to be replaced in about 5 months anyway.

ok good deal... just didnt want a noob puttin some big turbo love on a stock fuel system and blowing up his car.. just this week i have seen two 2g's awd and fwd they dude slapped on a 20g with no supportings and both have resulted in a rod through the block..

Before you jump into any conclusions, check the turbo for shaftplay. If there are no shaftplay, this is most likely a oil supply/return issue. Have you check the return line for kinks? Have you make sure the breather filter isn't clogged? Is you pcv functioning properly? Are you feeding from the head or the filter location? Is your banlance shaft removed?

All turbo lines are stock, no kinks. The breather filter I just put on a few weeks ago when I did my intake pipe, PCV is brand new, not even a week old, and the balance shafts are still there. On another note, the car has been burning oil like nobodys business. I just did the oil change not 1000 miles ago, and yesterday when I found the oil in the IC piping I checked it, and it was barely touching the dipstick. I haven't yet checked the shaft play, but I'm going to do so in just a little while. I'll post back with the results. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

Ok, I checked the shaft play, and it was non-existent. I was thinking though, could these be symptoms of a blocked oil return line? It seems to make good sense to me, I could be wrong though. Let me know what you guys think.
