Oil for 420a break in

How long do I have to use the non detergent oil? can I switch at 100 or 3000 miles?

20miles = Brad Penn SAE 30 ND
50miles = Brad Penn SAE 30 ND
100miles = non detergent 5w30
200miles = non detergent 5w30
3000miles = regular 5w30


Also how does the oil change period look?

i've seen some members recommend oil with a lot of zinc,
But if you go the motorman way, be sure to remember, you have only 20 or so minutes to before the rings become sealed to the walls.

Yeah the BP oil has alot of zinc but how does the interval look I posted?

Bearing tolerances? Zinc and teflon. I use schaffer 5-30 and call it a day.

As for tolerances I just remember they were within spec. I had it written somewhere but who knows what happened to it.
