oil filter housing bolt

I have an oil leak by one of the bolt on the oil filter housing. It’s the one that has I think the oil pressure sensor on it. It’s leaking right around that area. 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles. The bolt seems very tight, it would not budge, and I don't understand why it still leaks.

It’s very annoying. Should I just change the entire housing?

Do you mean the oil pressure sending unit? It's a 2" diameter "can" with a single wire on the end and has a 14mm hex fitting on the other end. It sits right next to the crank pulley (a bit in front of and to the drivers side of). If this is it, and it's leaking from where it threads into the filter housing, drain the oil, disconnect the wire, unscrew the sending unit, clean off the threads, put RTV on the threads, put it back in, torque to spec, and let the RTV set up. Maybe the last time it was installed, nobody put the RTV on it, and it's leaking as a result. You're supposed to put sealant on the threads when you install it.

If it's not the oil pressure sending unit, then maybe a pic or more detailed description would help.
