I am doing a 14b install on my 2G. I plan to use the 1G stock oil feed line with the head as the source for oil ( i know the 2g location is better... but on a budget and dont want to pick up a new line)
Any ways Can I use the stock oil pressure sending unit to block off the 2g's oem location in the oil filter housing?

I was told that the sending unit is a little smaller.. But I have an adapter which came with my aftermarket gauge (glow shift) that I never used which is slightly larger (dont know the size?)
..

Hmmm...let me think for a bit, it was a while since I have done this...
I went to NAPA with the stock fitting and told them I needed a plug. I think it was a NPT 3/8" plug, but not too sure. They were not that expensive, like $0.69 or something like that. But if you can get the factory fitting off and take that with you, they should be able to match it up.

Okay I just learned my gauge came with a 1/8 to 3/8 NPT adapter.. that should work right?

Like I said, I really don't remember what size it was, but for some reason 3/8" sticks in my head. You can take out the fitting right now, not much oil will leak out, and see if your adapter will fit. When you tighten everything down though, use some teflon tape to seal it up good.

Well im doing the turbo install tomorrow, I will check that before we get to far in.. would go check it now but I always make things worse.. and I need my car tomorrow morning for work ;)
Thanks for the info though.. I hope it is the 3/8 so I can finally get rid of the t25

You will love the 14B over the T-25, as it will hold 15+psi to redline, and pull much harder. Are you using a kit, or are you fabing up your own intercooler piping? I used the factory J-pipe of a 90, then used my s-shaped intercooler hose off the 2G and made a small pipe out if 2" exhaust pipe with a 45* bend. Then bead-welded the ends so they don't blow off. Works great, and it only cost me approx. $60 for the gaskets, and the oil line.

No kit, just piecing things together.. For intercooler pipe I though you can just flip the stock 2G one to work? If not I guess ill make a trip to get some pipe :D

That's what I thought, until I tried putting things together. There was a plastic box, I guess a resonator, that took up about 4 inches of pipe. And with the stock J pipe it put a weird angle on the pipe, and made it difficult to put on. So I took the wife's car to Advanced Auto and bought a piece of bent 2" pipe, came home and measured it and cut it, then bead welded the ends. I can take some pics if you want, let me know.
