so tell me what your opinion is on a oil catch can on a n/t that is NOT coverted to turbo.

i think it's a good idea just to keep the engine clean.

i say good idea. im putting one on my car with all the work im doing to it. keep the crap out of the engine. friend of mine has a neon that he's put a bunch in and uses a catch can. last time he emptied it the oil was like yellow...

catch cans also catch un-burnt fuel. yellow makes some sense.

reason why i'm going to do this is i noticed sports of oil in my intake pipe and on my TB plate. didnt like that crap getting into my engine.

get rid of the current tube (crossed off in blue) and plug the hole.
run a tube to the catch can (mounted in red), then another tube to the underside of the intake pipe (where there is a 2nd bung that's capped off) but i'm going to get black hosing not the clear that comes with the kit.

(don't mind the dirty engine bay or the missing ps/ac belt. i'm close to pulling the a/c out that's why there's no belt.)

i wouldn't cap the VC port goin into the intake line...i'd get a filter for it.

and don't people usually hook it up to the port goin into the PCV valve line?

ugly hook up if you ask me. i would have wrapped the hoses behind the motor....

now when you do this, do you still keep the pcv valve hooked up or take it out?

keep the pvc valve.

here is what i did. got the parts today.
