I recently did my rebuild.
One day when I was going to turn my car on for some reason the timing belt skipped like 3 teeth.
TO make long story short I did compression test pistons
4,3,2 were okay at 165.
Number 1 was at zero. I took the head off and one valve was bent all the way in.
No I don't know what to do. I don't want to waste more than $200. SO WHAT OPTIONS DO I GOT?I would appreciate your suggestions
Dont ask me how it skipped timing? I'm clueless.

Just replace the 2 vavles that are bent on cylinder number 1. Since your head was recently rebuilt everything should be fine with the other valves. That is going to be your most cost effective option. Two new valves from ongreenperformance.com is only 18 bucks for intake and 22 for exhaust.

about half way down the page, good luck

I was going to say the exact same thing :)

While the head is out -- after you replace the valves, turn the head upside down so your looking at the valves(put a sparkplug in it too), pour some water or alcohol in the #1 "cup" check if any of the water/alc seeps through the valves. If it does you will probably need some valve machine work done, as you will have low compression on that cylinder. Make sure either the cams are out or the head is at TDC when you do this test, valves need to be closed.

As an after thought and this is the root cause of the failure, Obviously a good new timing belt is needed. Replace the auto tensioner and idlers and water pump. Cheap and right are not always hand in hand. Cover your butt, do it right. Or else you may end up again where you are now. I'm just trying to keep you on the road busting bugs. Use a pro manual to install your belts. Very important to do it right the first time. Good Luck
