Oh No! Crankwalk!?!

my car walked last nite (i think )

this is bs! i just bought the car

i was turning left on lake st fro m my house and all of a sudden i hear this LOUD kocking sound and the car jerks and almost stops and then i realize that my clutch is stuck to the floor. i didnt know what the #### that was, first thing that came to mind was crank walk! so i made a u turn and started driving back home (it was less then half a mile away) the noise was pretty bad!

then wehn i got home i opened the hood and heard the noise coming from under the valve cover? (crnkwalk??no? right?)

then when i press my clutch in it makes a clicking noise
but i dont know if this is crankwalk or no can anyone help me plz plz

Always keep driving when the car makes a bad noise. It's the fastest way to learn about automotive repair.

werd, the noise usually stops, even if the engine wont run anymore. At least you don't have to worry about the noise.

Jack it up and see if hte crank pulling can be moved laterally with a pry bar/screw driver/etc. Not to hard, just hard enough to see if it moves. Iif you see or hear any movement ( a thunk ),
