Dream On: Yep Im the 1g guy which one are you? Will you guys be back for the reschedule because I know all of us will! Sorry for the burnouts JROD. I was back behind the Best Western to see a big crowd cheering on the TA to do a burnout. I no he didnt want to come back after the cops rolled in with paintball guns and teargas or was it paintball guns filled with teargas. Either way that pretty much ended it all. I believe your right, its not the drinking that bothered them just the burnouts. They walked by everyone drinking as if they were looking for something (guessing the burnout vehicle).

I was the one guy that brought the red 92 up. I had the brown buzzed hair and probably hadn't shaved in a few days. haha.

No it was not fun. Any of you that said you had a good time trailer your car there for 5.5 hours or more one way? Even if it gets reschuled there will be about half the people there to RACE not bullshit come back. Yea im pissed. Will be doing all local events from now on.

Every weather report since Monday the 13th predicted rain in OH over the weekend but you still trailered your car 5.5 hours to the Shootout and now you are pissed?:toobad:

Ya, the fux doing the burn-outs is not cool. Its like you assume we've never seen one before. And I'm sure most of us have seen FAR better ones at that.

I hope some you guys get jacked one year. And I'd help if I could.

Not one person in the entire econolodge was against the burnouts at the time. Once it hits the internet though, it's a catastrophe and everyone is against it. Weird.

thats usually how it always is. . . :beatentodeath:

Yep, it was the same at the Best Western this year. Every car that pulled through the parking lot was egged on to do a burnout by most of the crowd, with noone stepping up and saying "Hey, don't do that!" But, I suppose it's much easier to flex your Internet muscles after the fact.

Aside from the idiocy that happened at Arby's (damage to the grassy area behind and the owner's displays), this was a pretty tame year by most accounts.

As I rolled through the BW lot I was surrounded by a swarm of people...maybe I drove through them... but anyway, the whole crowd was yelling at me to do a burnout. I couldn't believe it. All I could picture was me going off the stutterbox and launching into the side of the dizzums parked in the lot. No thanks. I'm low and slow and I know it, whats to prove?

I'm guessing no one steps up because the fact that it is entertaining at the moment...

Yea, no one is really in the right frame of mind while under the influence of alcohol.

Thanks again Buschur for puting on this great event and reminding us all why we love these cars so much....even though they are a pain in the ass. Ill see yall at the re-schedule!

Congratulations on the record pass! Kick ass photos too :thumb:

If I dont go they will find a way to race like they always have. The weather was just so bad that there was no time to dry the track in sight. Would I do it again? Sure I would. The out come would have been different. 85% of the time they will find a way to race on a rainy day.
