Not RWD, but an AWD 4g63 swapped 1996 Hyundai Elantra.

I can't wait for the reschedule date. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T MAKE IT THE 23TH OR SEPTEMBER. I have to go to my niece's baptism and i'm the god father.

My sister might be mad if i leave the church in my DSM to drive down to Ohio ROFL ROFL

No it was not fun. Any of you that said you had a good time trailer your car there for 5.5 hours or more one way? Even if it gets reschuled there will be about half the people there to RACE not bullshit come back. Yea im pissed. Will be doing all local events from now on.

I drove 10 hours one way and would do it again for sure :thumb:

Did you trailer your car there ? Did you set your car up to race that day for a certain class? If not both of try it then let me know. I think what made it so bad was the drive home in the down pours. We had to pull over at times.
Sure I would go again just to watch but dont have the resources to get my car there. It was a one time thing for me (to accually enter in the shootout).

WHY?? Fiero's are a dissapointment... dont get me wrong im sure its a very fast car--- but I would much rather put my money in a DSM

Remind me how much of a disappointment a fiero is, when your in its rear view mirrors... I owned a 95 GSX that was doing 13 seconds almost fully stock, and I got my ass handed to me by a Fiero. So I went out and bought one... It became my number one favorite car besides DSM's... The only real reason it died, is because its American... and American vehicles can't stand up to ### Vehicles in almost every class! So when the Supercharged MR2 Came out... it put an end to fiero sales... A 4 cylinder putting out the same if not more power then the GTV6 Fiero... and twice the fuel economy!

I will never doubt a Fiero Again. And I will defiantly own them again!

Yes, I did trailer my car there in a 32' enclosed trailer that I had never driven before. Nothing like driving 3/4 of a semi for the first time 540 miles one way after you second mortgage your house to trade away the car that you saved for more than three years to buy. I then drove that trailer all the way back in the pouring rain empty to our area were six people died leaving the new EVO of my dreams (the Magnum) so Buschur Racing, RobiSpec, and Exedy can go after a national title. You ever hydro plane something that is over 55ft long? I also spent well over $500 in gas, another $100 or more in tolls and another $500 on hotel. A lady where I work had 18" of rain at there house. The guy who put in the security system for our building knew 2 people that died less than a mile from his house when a culvert was washed out from water that was more than 20 feet deep. Think about how bad things could have been. At least you are home in one piece with your car. I also drove out to Buschurs this past February in a level 3 blizzard. I had to actually stop in the road and wait to pass snow drifts that were over five feet high in my lane only to arrive at Buschur's and find that they were closed due to the blizzard. You may have some passion for cars but you also have a lot of negative attitude and sure do give up easily. It took Edison almost two years and trying over 6000 different fibers before he got the light bulb to work.

I had a great time Saturday. We trailered 2 cars 300 miles from Rochester, NY and it was a baeutiful day. We knew it was going to rain Sunday, but it was worth it to visit for Saturday. We met alot of great people and Mike and Frank Lipani's evo put 599 on the dyno that day.

We would have loved to get thr Ricer on to see what we could get out of the stock turbo, but we must have asked too late in the day.

Nice to meet you people I talked to! I had a white StreetTuned shirt and really long pigtails... and thanks for the shirt, Nick ;)

I wish I took more pics though... Enjoy! Mine and Emery's is the Blue Evo and the AMS car is Mike and Frank Lipani's:

Well, we stopped by the track anyway saturday evening and just watched race after race of 9 sec or less passes... we were waiting to be called for the stock class... and then I went over and took this picture of the cars STILL waiting to go. This track makes NYIRP look like a dump... we were hoping to get a pass at this nice track. Oh well.

That 1996 Hyundai Elantra, few post before mine, runs like 9. That thing had more people arround it at the race track then any other car in the pits. I saw it few weeks ago at English town race track. The car is sick..............period. The guy told me that they cut the body off the talon and welded the hyundai body on the talon one. It has 2 firewalls. There is no words to describe it how sick that car is.
